A checklist for configuring PowerBI.com integration and enabling embedded BI reports in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
Configuration Steps

Register / create a Power BI account using the same domain account as your D365 environment.

Tier 2 environment required — for Tier 1 environments, an additional service is needed.

Register an application in Azure Active Directory (AAD) to enable the integration between D365 F&O and Power BI.

Specify Power BI settings in D365 F&O using the registered AAD app details.

Provide the LCS Project ID with Power BI assets in the Lifecycle Services help configuration field at System Administration > System Parameters > Help.

Validate the PowerBI.com configuration by clicking Get started on the Power BI tile.

Deploy BI reports (and set the LCS connection) at System Administration > Setup > Deploy Power BI files.

Refresh the Entity Store at System Administration > Setup > Entity Store.
