Basic steps, notes and key links about how to sign up and deploy a cloud instance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations.

For Microsoft partners and current customers, you need to follow the steps on the customer source or on the partner source to request access via email. In addition, here is a good blog post for visual studio subscribers how to deploy using existing azure tenant and utilize monthly azure credit, which comes with it.  The main tutorial on docs how to create a subscription and get Microsoft online test tenant as well as LCS project is here.

The second step, get an O365 tenant to be able to login to LCS account, Azure subscription setup and assign it to the new project at LCS as well. Here is an article how to upload certificate (use classic Azure portal)

Another important part is to get an understanding of ARM onboarding process here. Azure subscription id and Azure tenant administrator’s access are required at this stage.

For deployment of the development and test environment, it also required to setup Visual Studio team services integration with LCS. Here is a great video guide how to do an integration.
